The third double-page spread of The Monster in the Woods. Marigold, now grown up, remembers her dear friend and the wonderful memories they made. She has found her people, and they have been able to build a new village over the years that they can call home. Around Mister’s memorial are the flowers that Mister held so dear. Eventually, Marigold notices a strange flower pop up from the bush… a flower that she did not plant. It is a deep pink, and the color reminds her of the big, friendly eye of her friend that used to travel by her side all those years ago.
